The Slovaks of Austria
The Slovaks of Austria, numbering about 36,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a West Slavic community with centuries-old roots in Vienna and Lower Austria, enlarged by migration for work during Vienna's nineteenth-century industrialization and recognized as one of Austria's autochthonous ethnic groups.
They are a diaspora people in the Slav, Western people cluster of the Eurasian Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Slovak.
