The Slovaks of the Czech Republic
The Slovaks of the Czech Republic, numbering about 126,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a West Slavic minority shaped by movement into the Czech lands before and during Czechoslovakia, including postwar settlement and labor migration, whose minority status followed the 1993 division of the shared state.
They are a diaspora people in the Slav, Western people cluster of the Eurasian Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Slovak.
