The Chikunda of Zambia
The Chikunda of Zambia, numbering about 90,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a warrior-and-trading people of the Zambezi valley spanning Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique, forged from 18th-century enslaved captives of many origins who served Afro-Portuguese estate lords before forming their own independent states.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Chewa-Sena people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Kunda.
