The Adja of Benin
The Adja of Benin, numbering about 652,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Adja-Ewe people whose ancestors migrated from Tado on the Mono River in the twelfth or thirteenth century to found the Allada kingdom around 1600, later divided among three founding brothers whose territories became Allada, Dahomey, and Porto-Novo.
They are an indigenous people in the Guinean people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Aja (Benin).
