The Tipera of India
The Tipera of India, numbering about 808,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are the largest tribal community of India's Tripura state, of Tibeto-Burman origin whose ancestors migrated from the upper Yangtze and Yellow River basins through the Himalayas to found the historic Twipra kingdom.
They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Kok Borok.
