The Tripuri of Bangladesh
The Tripuri of Bangladesh, numbering about 144,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Tibeto-Burman indigenous people of eastern Bangladesh descended from the inhabitants of the historic Tripura kingdom and closely related to the Tripuri of northeast India.
They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Kok Borok.
