The Palikur of Brazil
The Palikur of Brazil, numbering about 1,300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Arawak-speaking people organized into clans called naone along Brazil's Amapa coast and French Guiana's Oyapock River, among the first Amazonian peoples recorded by Europeans in 1507 and the region's last Arawak settlers.
