The Yagua of Colombia
The Yagua of Colombia, numbering about 1,100 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an Indigenous people of the northwestern Amazon whose communities inhabit the rivers of southern Colombia and northeastern Peru and who maintain a distinct Peba-Yaguan heritage rooted in rainforest agriculture, fishing, and clan organization.
They are an indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Yagua.
