The Murui of Colombia
The Murui of Colombia, numbering about 8,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Murui-Muina branch of the Witoto peoples of the Colombian Amazon whose homeland lies along the Putumayo, Cara-Paraná, and Igara-Paraná river systems and whose identity is rooted in maloca-centered community life and Witotoan traditions.
They are an indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Spanish.
