The Herero of Botswana
The Herero of Botswana, numbering about 42,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are Bantu pastoralists descended from survivors of the German colonial genocide against the Herero and Nama in Namibia between 1904 and 1908, resettled across the border with lasting ties to their ancestral homeland.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Central-Southwest people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Herero.
