The Herero of Angola
The Herero of Angola, numbering about 130,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Bantu cattle-herding people related to the Himba of the Kaokoveld spanning Angola and Namibia, most of whose kin were killed in German colonial forces' 1904-1908 genocide following the Battle of Waterberg, formally recognized by Germany only in 2021.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Central-Southwest people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Herero.
