The Yombe of Angola
The Yombe of Angola, numbering about 97,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Bantu people who migrated to the Congo-Angola coast from Gabon in the 14th century, taking their name from the old Mayomba Kingdom, long dominated by the Kongo and now producing nearly identical nkisi power figures and phemba maternity carvings.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Central-South people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Yombe.
