The Yombe of the Republic of the Congo

The Yombe of the Republic of the Congo, numbering about 725,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Bantu people who migrated from the Gabon area to the Congo-Angola border in the 14th century, tracing their name to the old Mayomba Kingdom, later displaced from the Congo River banks by the expanding Kongo Kingdom.
