The Pare of Tanzania
The Pare of Tanzania, numbering about 1,020,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Bantu people of Tanzania's Pare Mountains attested in the Kilimanjaro region for over 600 years, whose Vuasu and Vughonu polities merged between the late 1700s and early 1800s, and who rolled back a colonial tax through the 1940s Mbiru protest.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Central-East people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Asu (Tanzania).
