The Pare of Kenya
The Pare of Kenya, numbering about 6,100 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Bantu people whose ancestors originated in Kenya's Taveta area before migrating into Tanganyika as the Vaasu, splitting into southern Vuasu and northern Vughonu dialects whose power rested with the Shana, a lineage specializing in iron forging rituals.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Central-East people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Asu (Tanzania).
