The Bimoba of Togo
The Bimoba of Togo, numbering about 497,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Gurma-speaking people whose ancestors were driven north into the hills around Nakpanduri, Bunkpurugu, and Dapaong by the Mamprusi and Dagomba using Chokosi mercenaries in the late 1600s, worshipping the deity Yennu through ancestral shrines.
They are an indigenous people in the Gur people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Moba.
