The Tamajaq of Nigeria
The Tamajaq of Nigeria, numbering about 39,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a large Berber ethnic group that inhabits a vast area of the Sahara desert stretching from far southwestern Libya to southern Algeria, Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso.
They are a diaspora people in the Tuareg people cluster of the Arab Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Islam, and they primarily speak Tawallammat Tamajaq.
