The Tamajeq Tuareg of Niger
The Tamajeq Tuareg of Niger, numbering about 1,280,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a large Berber ethnic group that inhabits a vast area of the Sahara desert stretching from far southwestern Libya to southern Algeria, Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso.
They are an indigenous people in the Tuareg people cluster of the Arab Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Islam, and they primarily speak Tawallammat Tamajaq.
