The Gurma of Niger
The Gurma of Niger, numbering about 90,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Gur people whose Gurma Kingdom was founded around 1250 AD by Diaba Lompo near Fada N'Gourma in present-day Burkina Faso, sharing common Gambaga Scarp origins with the Mossi and Konkomba, with communities extending into Niger, Ghana, Togo, and Benin.
They are a diaspora people in the Gur people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Gourmanchéma.
