The Western Krahn of Liberia
The Western Krahn of Liberia, numbering about 115,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Kru people of Liberia's Grand Gedeh County who migrated to the Grain Coast in the early 1500s fleeing the collapse of Sahelian empires and regional warfare, governed through elders' councils without central authority.
They are an indigenous people in the Kru people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Western Krahn.
