The Western Krahn of Côte d’Ivoire
The Western Krahn of Côte d’Ivoire, numbering about 27,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Kru people who migrated into Liberia's historic Grain Coast in the early 16th century amid upheaval from the collapse of western Sudanese empires, with most Western Krahn speakers settling in Liberia and a smaller population remaining in Cote d'Ivoire.
They are an indigenous people in the Kru people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Western Krahn.
