The Badyara of Guinea-Bissau
The Badyara of Guinea-Bissau, numbering about 7,400 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Eastern Senegal-Guinea language people whose ancestors fled war in Guinea for Senegal roughly 110 years ago, settled in small farming villages of 100 to 500 people across Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, and Guinea, known for honey and woven cotton cloth.
They are an indigenous people in the Atlantic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Badyara.
