The Mon of Thailand
The Mon of Thailand, numbering about 120,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are one of Southeast Asia’s oldest Indigenous peoples, founders of some of the region’s earliest civilizations and a major cultural force in what is now Myanmar and Thailand.
They are an indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Mon.
