The Lushai of Myanmar
The Lushai of Myanmar, numbering about 19,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Chin-Mizo people of western Myanmar's Falam, Tedim, and Tonzang townships near the Indian border, whose ancestors moved through the Kabaw Valley to the Chin Hills by the mid-16th century and were recorded as Lushai under British colonial administration.
They are an indigenous people in the Mizo people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Lushai.
