The Asho Chin of Bangladesh
The Asho Chin of Bangladesh, numbering about 4,600 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Plains Chin people whose ancestors settled west of the Ayeyarwady-Chindwin confluence before migrating eastward during the Pagan kingdom era, later dispersing through the Irrawaddy Delta into Bangladesh's Chittagong Hill Tracts, known as Khyang.
They are an indigenous people in the Kuki-Chin (Zo) people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Asho Chin.
