The Kono of Guinea
The Kono of Guinea, numbering about 123,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a community of subsistence farmers descended from Mali-Guinean migrants who settled in Guinea in the sixteenth century.
They are an indigenous people in the Mande people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Kono (Guinea).
