The Yang of Laos
The Yang of Laos, numbering about 6,800 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Tai-speaking ethnic group residing in Phongsaly Province, northwester Laos. The Yang are heavily influenced by neighboring Tai Lue and Tai Dam culture.
They are an indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Polytheism, and they primarily speak Bouyei.
