The Vietnamese of Hong Kong
The Vietnamese of Hong Kong, numbering about 46,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a diaspora community in Hong Kong composed largely of refugees and migrants who arrived after the Vietnam War, including many of Chinese ancestry, and who have developed a distinct Vietnamese-Hong Kong identity.
They are a diaspora people in the Vietnamese people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Mahayana Buddhism, and they primarily speak Vietnamese.
