The Oy Sok of Laos
The Oy Sok of Laos, numbering about 2,900 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Sok subgroup of the Oy people of southern Laos who belong to the broader Mon-Khmer cultural tradition and have historically lived in remote forested regions near the Vietnam border.
They are an indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Oy.
