The Thai Ae of Laos
The Thai Ae of Laos, numbering about 950 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a small Ae people of southern Laos who are closely related to other Katuic highland communities and have maintained a distinct identity in the remote forested and mountainous regions near Sekong.
They are an indigenous people in the Tai people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Tai Do.
