The Sadang Duan of Laos
The Sadang Duan of Laos, numbering about 1,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Duan subgroup of the Sedang people of southern Laos who belong to the broader Mon-Khmer tradition and have maintained a distinct highland identity in the forested regions near the Vietnam border.
They are an indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Sedang.
