The Phuthai Angkham of Laos
The Phuthai Angkham of Laos, numbering about 1,700 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Angkham subgroup of the Phu Thai people of Laos who belong to the broader Tai tradition and maintain a distinct lowland identity in the Mekong basin of southern Laos.
They are an indigenous people in the Tai people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Buddhism, and they primarily speak Phu Thai.
