The Katu Hanna of Laos
The Katu Hanna of Laos, numbering about 750 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Hanna subgroup of the Katu people of southern Laos who belong to the broader Mon-Khmer tradition and maintain a distinct highland identity in the remote mountain communities of Sekong Province.
They are an indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Western Katu.
