The Kalik of Sudan
The Kalik of Sudan, numbering about 31,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of the Nuba Mountains in South Kordofan, Sudan, who speak Kalik. They preserve a distinct identity through farming, cattle raising, extended family ties, and cultural traditions shared with neighboring Nuba peoples.
They are an indigenous people in the Nuba Mountains people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Sudanese Arabic.
