The Van Baoriya of India
The Van Baoriya of India, numbering about 447,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a community of Nagaur, Churu, and Sikar districts, Rajasthan, also called Van Vagria in Gujarat, their name recalling forest-dwelling deer hunters. Settled cultivation and quarry labor have replaced this banned hunting trade.
They are an indigenous people in the Rajasthani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Shekhawati.
