The Manser of India
The Manser of India, numbering about 21,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Tulu-speaking Adi Dravida caste of coastal Karnataka whose name means "man" in their own language. Formerly bonded laborers who carried carcasses for landowning families, they now work mainly in agricultural wage labor.
They are an indigenous people in the Other South Asian people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Tulu.
