The Daitapati of India
The Daitapati of India, numbering about 750 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an Odisha community hereditarily attached to the Jagannath Temple at Puri, believed descended from the ancient Daitya people, whose male members alone inherit the right to serve the temple's principal deities.
They are an indigenous people in the Odia people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Odia.
