The Ladsi of India
The Ladsi of India, numbering about 3,300 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a weaving community of Maharashtra, possibly migrants from Gujarat's Lad region, who have largely converted to Buddhism. Most have abandoned weaving for agricultural labor and seasonal grass-selling.
They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Buddhist people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Buddhism, and they primarily speak Bundeli.
