The Mandali Muslims of India
The Mandali Muslims of India, numbering about 1,700 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Muslim community of Ahmedabad, Mehsana, and Surendranagar districts in Gujarat tracing migration from Multan, now in Pakistan, before the fifteenth century. Agriculture remains their main occupation, and they follow Sunni Islam.
They are an indigenous people in the Bengali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Gujarati.
