The Moyon of India
The Moyon of India, numbering about 3,700 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of thirteen villages in the Chandel district hills of Manipur, believed to have emerged from a cave at Sijjur. Shifting cultivation remains traditional and a majority have converted to Christianity.
They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Moyon Naga.
