The Tula Vina of India
The Tula Vina of India, numbering about 11,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a community of Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Puri, and Ganjam districts, Odisha, known locally as Vina, their name recalling their traditional craft of cotton-carding. Agriculture has largely replaced this trade, alongside thread-making.
They are an indigenous people in the Odia people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Odia.
