The Sadaru of India
The Sadaru of India, numbering about 16,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a small vegetarian community of Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh, historically Jain before splitting into Vaishnava and Lingayat sections. Agriculture and agricultural labor remain their traditional and present occupations.
They are an indigenous people in the Bengali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Telugu.
