The Pnar of India
The Pnar of India, numbering about 1,300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a matrilineal Khasi subtribe of Meghalaya's Jaintia Hills who call themselves Children of the Seven Huts, tracing migration from present-day Cambodia over 500 years ago, whose medieval Jaintia Kingdom was annexed by the British East India Company in 1835.
They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Pnar.
