The Cingatanmar of India
The Cingatanmar of India, numbering about 1,200 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Kerala community of Kannur district whose name derives from a ritual devil dance performed during the month of Chingam, traditionally engaged in bee-keeping, basket-making, and hunting and gathering.
They are an indigenous people in the Malayali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Malayalam.
