The Parvatarajakulam of India
The Parvatarajakulam of India, numbering about 38,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a fishing community of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry also called Sembadavan or Meenavan, tracing legendary descent from a king cursed by a sage to fish. Fishing remains their principal occupation and they are largely Saivite Hindu.
They are an indigenous people in the Tamil people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Tamil.
