The Mogaveera of India
The Mogaveera of India, numbering about 38,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a traditional maritime and fishing community of Tulu Nadu, the coastal region of south‑western Karnataka (mainly Dakshina Kannada and Udupi) with extensions into Kasaragod district of Kerala.
They are an indigenous people in the Other South Asian people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Tulu.
