The Vijabargiya of India
The Vijabargiya of India, numbering about 193,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Bania trading community of Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, and other districts of Rajasthan, their oral tradition tracing ancestry to an ancestor named Vija. Trade and business remain principal, alongside professional and white-collar work.
They are an indigenous people in the Bania people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Marwari (India).
