The Ker of India
The Ker of India, numbering about 425 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a small Sunni Muslim community of Kachchh district in Gujarat descended from a Sammat Rajput ancestor. The Ker largely migrated from Sindh after Partition. Agriculture and cattle-rearing remain their main livelihood.
They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Kachhi.
