The Indo-Vietnamese of India
The Indo-Vietnamese of India, numbering about 500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a small Buddhist refugee community from Vietnam settled near Pondicherry after the French withdrawal from Indochina. Many are war widows who later married local residents.
They are an indigenous people in the Lao people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Lao.
