The Shaksaz of India
The Shaksaz of India, numbering about 3,300 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Muslim basket-weaving community of Srinagar and Badgam districts in Kashmir, their name recalling twigs and the act of weaving. Making fire-pots and baskets from willow branches remains their primary craft and occupation.
They are an indigenous people in the Kashmiri people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Kashmiri.

- Ephesians 5:8. Pray that those walking in darkness will turn to the light and live as children of light.
